Decisions are gross.
Is it okay to admit that?
But after 31 years I'm coming to the conclusion that I need to get better at making them, because what I have to say can be pretty good (from time to time... Although the decision to back shave my hair when I was 11 was perhaps not one of my best [thanks mom...])
What truly impresses me, though, is watching my friends and the decisions they've made over the last few years and the places they've gone because of it. Not always comfortable choices, not always popular choices, but decisions they had to make, for lifestyle, happiness, and opportunity.
So this one goes out to all y'all, and you know who you are. Thank you for having the b*lls to stand tall for what you want and need. You've inspired me in many ways, some of which you'll never know.
Thank you for being brave, peeps.

You can never make the wrong decision my friend ... it's all just one big "choose your own adventure" story with lots of possibilities and then possibilities ontop of those other possibilities. Commit to a choice and have faith and everything always seems to land in the right place somehow ... even if the original decision was stupid (e.g. my Feb.2007 "incident", Grade 14 and my 7-day hike to hell otherwise more popularly known as the WCT ... all have turned out to be major blessings in a bunch of different ways)
You're wise beyond your years my friend...
